Lohengrin in Światowid Cinema

Wagner's "Lohengrin" returns to the Met after 17 years, in an atmospheric new staging by François Girard. The performance will be broadcast from The Metropolitan Opera on March 18 at 5 pm.


Yannick Nézet-Séguin will conduct the orchestra, while the cast will be led by tenor Piotr Beczała in the title role of the mysterious knight. Soprano Tamara Wilson will sing the part of Elza, the duchess wrongly accused of murdering her brother, while soprano Christine Goerke will play the role of the cunning witch Ortrud. They will be partnered on stage by bass-baritone Evgeny Nikitin, as Ortruda's power-hungry husband Talramund, and bass Günther Groissböck as King Henry the Birdman.

- at the box office of the Centrum Spotkań Europejskich "Światowid". The box office is open Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- At the ticket machine located in the lobby of the CSE "Światowid" (payment by card) from 8:00 to 21:00 hours
