The vernissage of Marian Lubawski's photographs entitled "My Ludzie Ziemi” (We the People of the Earth). The pictures of the photographer and traveller from Elbląg came from as many as 36 countries. They can be viewed at the Centrum Spotkań Europejskich "Światowid" in Elbląg until 16 April.
"This is Marian Lubawski's third author exhibition. We are delighted that he chose Światowid. We have always wanted to be a place where people can realise and show their passions" - says Antoni Czyżyk, director of the Centrum Spotkań Europejskich "Światowid" in Elbląg.
Marian Lubawski's adventure began in 2008, with his first trip to Cambodia. With each subsequent one, he became more and more convinced that his dream was to learn about different cultures, people and their daily lives.
"I brought back photos from many countries. From 36 countries and five continents. They mainly show the people, the tribes and it's their daily life that I wanted to catch in photographs. They live their pace, their customs, and their culture. Some are threatening, some less so, but in general people are the same everywhere and despite the fact that they speak different languages, have different skin colours, they are the same people and must be respected" - emphasises photographer Marian Lubawski.
The exhibition will be open until 16 April 2023 and admission is free! We encourage you to visit the first and second floor during the opening hours of the CSE"Światowid" in Elbląg.
We invite you to watch video footage of the event.
