Easter Folk Art Fair in Światowid

Traditionally before Easter, the Easter Fair of Folk Art will take place at "Światowid". Folk artists, galleries, institutions, farms or individuals involved in handicrafts, crafts, and natural and traditional food products are invited to present their products. The fair will take place on 2 April (Sunday) 2023.

- Our Easter Folk Art Fair is a long-standing tradition. For years, we as "Światowid" have been trying to support local artists in various forms. The Fair is one of the many opportunities to meet handicrafts and our cultural heritage - says Antoni Czyżyk, Director of the CSE "Światowid" in Elbląg.

We hope that this year's edition will once again meet with great interest on the part of residents and local exhibitors.

- The presented objects and products should refer to the traditions and habits of Easter, there will be no place for mass production - say the organisers. - Preferred wares include ceramics, toys, jewellery, sculpture, embroidery, ornaments, trimmings, Christmas decorations, souvenirs, paintings, lace, glass drawing, plaiting, amber, metal and wood products, souvenirs, etc., as well as natural and traditional food products - they add.

Applications are being accepted until 17 March 2023 or until places run out. The rules and application form are available below or at the office of CSE "Światowid" in Elbląg at pl. Jagiellończyka 1 in Elbląg. For more information, call (55) 611-20-59 or e-mail: aleksandra.bednarczuk@swiatowid.elblag.pl.
