We have a unique, musical proposal for you on Friday (November 25) evening. The European Meetings Center "Światowid" in Elbląg invites you to a musical performance of the string trio "Amabile". The concert will be part of the Meetings with Music series. We invite you to collect your tickets today.

The string trio "Amabile" is a band composed of professional, educated musicians, but above all people with passion, a similar character and sensitivity. The band was established in 2016, and over the years the members and the name of the band have changed.

During the concert on November 25, 2022, at the European Meetings Center "Światowid" in Elbląg, we will debut in the following line-up:

1st violin
Wiktoria Głowińska - student of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. Founder and originator of the band.

2nd violin
Michał Röhrig - student of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. A new member but has been a friend of our team for years.

Cello
Weronika Glowińska - student of Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. In the team from the very beginning, privately the twin sister of the founder.

The band operates in Elbląg and the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and gives concerts in Gdańsk, Bydgoszcz and other cities in Poland.

Music is our passion, the best way to spend time together, have fun, but also work - says Wiktoria Głowińska, the founder of the band. We want to constantly develop in this direction, we are looking for new places where we can create and share with others what we love the most.

Each of us devoted our lives to music as a child. It accompanies us at every moment. It is something indispensable, our glue. Each of us feels it differently, but together we can create one message, filled with love, understanding and sensitivity - notes Michał Röhrig.

For us, music is also an escape from everyday life, where we find peace, and relief, which we so often lack in our everyday life - emphasizes Weronika Glowińska. While playing, we can pass on all our emotions to others, and share what we feel, and who we are. We also know that it will meet with understanding - because music connects people regardless of their generation, beliefs or values.

During the concert in "Światowid", the string trio "Amabile" will perform arrangements of well-known and popular film pieces.

We will hear, among others: Tango from the movie "Scent of a Woman", "Barbara's Waltz" from the movie "Nights and Days", "Moon River" from "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Potter Waltz" from the fourth part of the film about a young wizard - "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ”and many others.

There will also be well-known, but more classic pieces, such as: "Oblivion" and "Libertango" by Astor Piazzola, "Canon in D" by Pachelbel or the second part of the concert for two violins by Johann Sebastian Bach.

We invite you to experience this wonderful musical adventure. Meetings with music is one of the cyclical cultural projects carried out by the Center for European Meetings "Światowid" in Elbląg, the aim of which is to present young musicians from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
